IMPORTANCE

Within the integrated organizational communication of the theoretical approach of the Brazilian social scientist, Margarida Krholing, internal communication forms a substantial part. This constitutes a “strategic tool for the compatibility of interests of the employees of the company or organization, through the stimulation of dialogue, the exchange of information and experiences, and the participation at all levels.”

According to the internal communication manual by Spanish authors Cristina Aced, Maité Arocas and Susana Miguel, internal communication has become an essential tool for building the reputation of a brand or a company. Business leaders realized, long ago, that the main ambassadors of a brand or an organization are their own employees and from that more transversal view of the organization, promoted on many occasions by communication departments, they have been defining the strategies and implementing internal communication plans in almost all large and medium-sized companies.
